Porcelain fillings also known as dental Inlays and Onlays are considered a halfway point between a filling and a crown. They are a stronger alternative than fillings for teeth that are cracked or decayed. Inlays and onlays are crafted by a dental laboratory, but they don’t cover the whole tooth like a crown does and are therefore more conservative.
