What most people seem to associate with dentures is the memory of their grandma keeping a pair of “choppers” in a glass. Although still made these are the dentures of the past. These days we create gorgeous dentures that are so natural looking that no one will know that it is a denture. Modern dentures can not only replace teeth and gums but give your face a lift and more youthful appearance.

Traditional dentures rely only on suction from the palate or dental adhesives to keep them in place. For the patients that have lost a lot of bone they don’t work well. A better option is now available, an implant supported denture. These highly esthetic dentures are fixed to the bone with usually four to six implants. They do not need to be removed every night.

If you have old dentures that don’t fit and you would like an option of using implants, sometimes we can alter your existing denture. By placing two implants, or mini implants, we can stabilize your old dentures so that they don’t flop around making it hard to speak and chew.
